Colbie Caillat - Fallin For You

If you want some pleasant music on a warm summer day to play in the background, or need contemporary music for an event likely to offend no one, Colbie Caillat's Breakthrough is your album. Hit single "Fallin' For You" has a midtempo gently rocking beat that is among the most infectious here. Singing along is even likely after the second or third time through. Easy joyful song i think... cool!!

Jamie Foxx - Blame It

Jamie Foxx may have gained worldwide fame for his on-screen movies, he has built a career for himself that includes acting, comedy and singing. He’s had better luck with his musical pursuits than many other actors, thanks in part to his knack for picking top-notch collaborators such as Kanye West. Jamie Foxx Blame It is the lead single from his 2008 album, Intuition. Blame it on the Alcohol is sort of a one trick pony, with repetitive beats that aren’t very memorable and a vocal hook that fades away. Featuring a guest spot from the seemingly unstoppable T-Pain, the Blame It mp3 will likely be a hit among pop, r&b and hip-hop fans.

Green Day : 21 Guns

Green Day is no stranger when it comes to experimenting with different styles of music. They have shown their resilience in albums like Nimrod(1997) and Warning(2000), introducing harmonica solos, horns/trumpets and even a dash of accordion. The second single of the album 21st Century Breakdown, "21 Guns" is a power ballad in the shadow of "Wake Me Up When September Ends" in both rhythm and message: War and fallen comrades. It also be featured on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen soundtrack. The marriage of Green Day has lasted over 22 years and their message has been fueled with the same anger and passion from their 1994 break-through album Dookie (with 10 million records sold) that revitalized mainstream music and popularized punk rock. So this is a 5 years and 13 million American Idiot album sales later, where Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool return with another punk assault of protest and revolution.

Linkin Park : New Devide (OST.Transformers II)

When i first heard this song, New Divide, I was not impressed whatsoever, pretty like the sounds in Minutes To Midnight. Coming from the sequel to the popular movie, Transformers, I was expect more of a pump to get me excited for the movie. After awhile, i thought about it and listen to it again. When listening to it again, i paid attention to the lyrics and it's relation to the title of the song and it's relation to the movie. This made me realize how good the song was. The bridge part in the middle of the song is just awesome. Toward the ending of the movie, right before the credits, they started to play the music while Optimus and Sam looked into the ocean. Linkin Park is one of the greatest bands ever with over than 50 million album sold and this new song is only a warm-up to what might come in the future.

Idol Finale 2009 : Kris Allen's takes over Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert opened up the American Idol’s Season 8 Finale with “Mad World” by Tears For Fears. I hope he records this because his version is awesome! Kris Allen sang “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers performing it on the piano. I think it’s great that he comes out and performs with instruments - Kris often plays the guitar or piano which shows he’s a real artist, to me it was just a decent performance.
Then on second round, Adam sing “A Change is Gonna Come”. I’m still amazed when he hits those high notes! Kris then sings “What’s Going On?” by Marvin Gaye. His version was genuine and soulful.
I wasn’t crazy about the Idol single, “No Boundaries” but both Adam and Kris tore it up on their own style. It’s proof that Adam can sing nearly anything and Kris make songs sound good. I think the song sounded like it fit Kris a little better, it will sells records. In the end, Kris's win over Lambert doesn't really matter, they are trully an artist, Adam’s performances are unique, artistic and theatrical, while Kris is joyful, genuine and versatile.

Duadetik : a little music for the extraordinaries..

The band started their first gig back in 1999, when four collegemates in Bandung Indonesia were committed to take their music to another level. The band called Duadetik (two seconds) describes how quickly they clicked in together, the first members of Duadetik are Anggo (vocal/guitar), Edo (Guitar), Rizal (drum), and Andri (bass). Playing covers of Raiohead, RHCP, PearlJam, Incubus, Muse, Creed and other modern rock bands, lead them to making their own sound to the local music scene. So in 2000, they started their first record, produced by themself, and the single "Terlanjur Jauh (it's been too far)" hit the radio stations indie charts, then followed by other singles such as "Baby Please" and "Bisakah (can we)". Having more gig schedules with their new bass player Riki, made them to be more
recognized and several record label in Jakarta starting to ask for auditions, but at that moment
suddenly guitarist Edo decided to left the band to move to another city. That was a major blow for the band. But the band didn't stop there, as they continue to perform at high schools, campuses, clubs and cafes using some help from fellow musicians as additional players. Then in 2004 they released two tracks ("Salah Siapa" and "You're Not There") in a compilation album called Civil Music Compliation 2004. Unfortunately that album is the last thing from Duadetik after five years of surging the dream.

B.E.P still kickin' with "Boom Boom Pow"

Listen to "Boom Boom Pow" and i soon think that It is simply a hot, beat crazy party track in the best tradition of the Black Eyed Peas. The break will drive you to the dance floor. "Boom Boom Pow" very effectively joins together the best elements of the Black Eyed Peas while avoiding heading over the top. This is one of the first great party tracks of 2009. Once again Will.I.am, Fergie, Taboo, and Apl.de.Ap kickin the dancefloor !!!

Jonas Brothers - Burning Up

The Jonas Brothers' strength clearly lies in the funky lead single "Burnin' Up". It helped by its surprisingly original lyrics: "I'm stepping into the lava, but I'm trying to keep from going under, who turned the temperature higher, 'cause I'm burning up for you baby". Lyrically the Jonas brothers are unremarkable, simple, but it's more than standard for their genre and age. The brothers alternate lead vocal duties, but Joe Jonas fronts most tracks and has established himself as the clear leader of the trio. While the voices of all three suffer from teenage mewling, the song clearly not intended foradult listeners. Keep on burnin kids !!!
